WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"I am a competitive ultrarunner that went to Amanda in utter desperation needing healing! An old injury to my IT band flared up just 3 weeks before my hundred mile race. I was in a panic- I had trained so hard and I was scared I wouldn't even be able to get to the starting line. Amanda worked on me four times... and she worked MIRACLES! Not only was I able to race- but I finished the race over an hour faster than I thought possible- without any IT band pain. I cannot speak to this method of bodywork more. If you are an athlete- especially in endurance sports, having Amanda on your team is a MUST- and not just when something hurts- come here for injury prevention and recovery. Your body will thank you!"

“Amanda is a seasoned, thorough and compassionate physical therapist. Being a former college tennis player and triathlete I have developed injuries and Amanda is my “go to” therapist. I have sent clients to her and she is the best at what she does. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else."

"I am 37 years old and have been struggling with back pain for many years, and after visiting doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, even an orthopedic surgeon, I was still frustrated as I was not pain free. I would sometimes experience temporary relief but the pain would always return. I also found that I could not exercise without injury even though I was always encouraged to “suck it up” or stop completely, so I was afraid to exercise. I finally found the help that I needed when I met Amanda. She treated me with manual therapy combined with an exercise plan which I did every day to get me back on my feet, neither of which I had had with any other practitioner. It took months to recover and with time, I resumed all of my prior activities again. Towards the end of my sessions, Amanda encouraged me to join a yoga class. I was afraid to go, but Amanda came with me in case something happened. Amanda has taught me how to overcome problems on my own so that I can “fix” myself. Without her help and advice, I would be unable to live a normal life and I am so thankful that I met her and will always be grateful to her…she saved my life."

"I have seen Amanda extensively and after having been in numerous physical therapy centers throughout the years I can attest that Amanda may be one of or if not the best physical therapists I have ever seen. Her knowledge of human physiology and how it relates to a body in motion is extremely all-encompassing. Her goal is to get you back to being active as quickly as possible and also guides you in making changes to your training regime so that you can prevent re-injury."

"I was always very skeptical of physical therapists as I had previously seen several different muscular and other issues over the years, and sadly I always found their treatment programs undefined and did not notice much improvement after treatment. At best, I received limited results, and in the worst cases, I was completely misdiagnosed resulting in wasted time and money. I hesitantly saw Amanda after having a knee meniscectomy, for treatment, but to my surprise, my experience was very different from the start. She was positive, practical, and most importantly, I saw results. My recovery from the surgery was rapid due to the exercise program she designed for me, and I appreciated the way she followed up and encouraged me to be diligent with my exercises.”

"When I first saw Amanda, I wasn't sure if seeing a physical therapist was the direction I should be taking. I really didn't know what was causing all of my problems and my previous attempt to seek help from a PT had been extremely discouraging and not at all helpful. Amanda was able to diagnose my situation at my first appointment and explained a treatment plan for my recovery. It was literally a life-changing meeting. Over the next eight months I was very lucky to have her patience, knowledge and experience, not to mention her positive nature, available to me. She worked diligently with me using successful manual therapy techniques and therapeutic physical exercises and stretches. When I first went to see Amanda I wasn't able to walk, stand, sit, run, exercise or do much of anything without pain and discomfort. She helped me to set physical goals for myself during my treatment and at one point she told me I would be able to run again. I admit that I really didn't believe it would be possible but she supported me in every way throughout this very difficult process and I am so thankful that I trusted her guidance and expertise because she was very right and I just completed a 10K run! Thank you again for everything Amanda. You're amazing!"
